Sawhorse Cow Contest

Updated information for 2024 entries will be coming soon!

The Sawhorse Cow Contest began in 2002 hosted by the Grant County Cattlewomen. Participants must decorate a sawhorse of any size to resemble a cow or a bull to compete for cash prizes!

1st Place: $75
2nd Place: $50
3rd Place: $35
Honorable Mention $10
Best of Show $100
Open to all ages- including adults!

Delivery and Pickup:
All Exhibits for Building #6 OPEN ART will be accepted for hanging on Friday and Saturday before fair at these times:

Exhibits Accepted-
Friday, August 9th – 2pm to 7pm
Saturday, August 10th – 9am to 2pm

Pickup Time-
Sunday, August 18th (day after fair) – 9am to 1pm
